I am an Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing professional with industry experience spanning aerospace, defense, and academia. Precision machining, inspection, 3D scanning, manufacturing engineering, materials and process engineering, quality, workforce development, technical training / education and CAD-based product development are my niches. I have previously worked for Fortune 100 Aerospace / Defense contractors, NASA, and currently teach Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing Technology while continuing to work with modern CAD, additive manufacturing (metals, composites, polymers, resins, concrete, and ceramics), metrology, GD&T, and manufacturing processes. My specialties include SolidWorks 3D modeling, engineering drawings, GD&T, reverse engineering, precision measurement and metrology, design revisions, design for manufacturing/assembly, additive manufacturing, technical documentation, and quality-focused design improvement. I have hands-on aerospace and defense experience supporting material and process qualification, technical production issues, inspections, specifications, and cross-functional engineering and manufacturing activities. I help clients turn sketches, measurements, existing CAD, drawings, or concepts into accurate, manufacturable 3D models and production-ready documentation.
