I am mechanical engineering recently graduated from the university of Vermont with 5+ years of experience in SolidWorks. Along with my CAD experience, I have worked for multiple different manufacturing industries creating 3D models and 2D drawings and have worked with machine shops to get parts made.

Jeff Peterson has 20 yeas 3D CAD experience and he started his career working in a small machine shops and factories. He graduated up through the trades. Got his degree in Vocational Education in Machine Trades after a short career teaching High School he took a position in industry as a inspector in the quality control department of an automotive seat belt company. He was promoted into engineering where he was assigned to the drafting and modeling department. From there he was promoted into a new R&D department. He came up with many new ideas and 5 were patented. And being the designer he was responsible for the product including purchasing, incoming inspection, manufacturing, testing, quality control, shipping and finally field return analysis. He furthered his career by taking a position position with an automotive supplier as a designer of plastic parts, rubber hoses, ridged steel tubes, stamped metal, plastic injection molds for Ford, Chrysler, GM, Honda, Nissan, John Deere, Caterpillar, and Navistar. I am currently employed as a full-time Drafter at an Architectural company but I am seeking part-time work to help expand experience and to make extra money on the side. I received my Computerized Assisted Drafting Certificate through Buckeye Career Center, and then continued on with my career as an employed drafter for about 3 years and counting. Since my projects belong to the companies that I work with, I am not able to attach any work samples to my profile or proposals, but I would love to discuss the different type of projects I have worked on (including Amazon distribution centers, LAX airport expansion, Union Hospital, and other projects in many locations from Santa Monica, to New York City.). Aside from the experience I have, I am very dedicated worker and will strive to understand any necessary skills to complete the job correctly and efficiently.
