I began my career in the CNC machining industry. I spent 7 years as a CNC machinist/programmer. I first encountered SolidWorks while working as a Machinist. I decided to move into mechanical design. I began taking classes in pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While in school I took a position with a company that manufactures Roll Forming equipment. I worked as an Equipment designer for 3 years before accepting a Design Engineer position with a manufacturer of Industrial Pneumatic Tools. I worked my way up to Plant Manager and helped the company prosper for 4 years before we were purchased by our largest competitor. I still work for the new owners on a part time/remote basis. My role is mainly new product design and occasionally support of existing products.

To prepare etude, core assembly, connection, tank, hardware, final assembly and shipping drawings for medium power transformers of desired power and size according to customer requests and needs and submit them to manufacturing. For example project : 16-20 MVA - 66-5,78 kV 50-62,5 MVA - 154-34,5 kV 24-30 MVA - 132 -11.5 kV After preparing the survey and customer measurement drawings of the projects for which customer proposals are given, preparing the core, connection, hardware and final assembly manufacturing drawings, as well as preparing the tank group as a 3D model in the inventor program and transferring the required parts list to the system.
