I am a mechanical designer with hands-on experience in manufacturing, machine design, industrial equipment, and automation. My focus is creating practical designs that can actually be manufactured, assembled, installed, and maintained.
I work primarily in SolidWorks and can assist with everything from simple individual components and replacement parts to larger machine assemblies and equipment modifications. My experience includes mechanical design, 3D modeling, manufacturing drawings, machine guarding, brackets and fixtures, equipment modifications, reverse engineering, and design for manufacturing.
In addition to mechanical design, I have experience working with industrial automation and controls, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, drives, and production equipment. This gives me a practical understanding of how mechanical and electrical systems work together in real-world machinery.
I enjoy solving problems and finding straightforward, cost-effective solutions. Whether you need a simple part modeled from a sketch or existing component, manufacturing drawings created, or help developing a larger machine or automation project, I am interested in projects of all sizes.
