Dietrich Linde, P.E. graduated from Virginia Tech (2011) with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and obtained his PE license in 2017. He has 6 years of experience in design engineering with a focus in materials and machine design and specializes in custom mechanical assemblies and automated systems. Specific capabilities include mechanical and electromechanical design, CAD, FEA and design validation, component and assembly manufacturing, procurement, assembly, and testing. Dietrich worked as a Systems Engineer, mechanical engineer, and sr. mechanical engineer. He has developed custom tooling for unique and specific projects. He has designed and manufactured a large scale metal 3D printer. Additionally he has designed equipment for automating processes to speed up manufacturing or reduce labor intensive applications. My responsibilities are but is not limited to draft and design residential Homes, Revise and follow building codes, fire regulations, zoning laws and city ordinances when creating plans.  For public buildings, being aware of disabled access laws. Since these laws change regularly, stay up-to-date on policy, zoning and regulation changes.  Be in sync with latest energy-efficient products, building styles and the area to ensure their design matches current building structures.  To provide pre-design figures such as an environmental impact or feasibility study, cost analysis and land use study. Final construction plans are created by me and used by builders as a step-by-step guide on how the look and details of the building will play out, including plumbing, communication and heating, electrical, ventilation and structural systems.
