I am a mechanical design engineer. I specialize in mold and tooling design, as well as prototype design and iteration. I have a degree in manufacturing engineering, with a focus in plastics and composites engineering. I have hands-on experience as a composites technician that allows me to intimately understand tool design from the design, manufacturing, and end-use sides. This would include designing bus bar systems, integration of dielectrics, and custom thermal dissipation (heatsinks,TMI,etc.). I have also designed mechanical assemblies for inserting and ejecting boards using sliding and rotating parts as well as creating 360 degree rotating custom fixtures through the use and integration of slip ring systems. I have access to a professional machine shop, metal bender, and finisher for prototyping and low quantity jobs.
