I help turn mechanical concepts into practical designs, CAD models, drawings, and prototypes—with attention to how parts fit, get manufactured, and come together.
I’m Freddy Sevilla, a mechanical engineer and founder of PacTek Solutions. My background includes more than a decade of engineering experience at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Northrop Grumman, working on spacecraft instrumentation, mechanical ground support equipment, and hardware for integration and testing.
I can help with:
• Mechanical part and assembly design, including Siemens NX CAD modeling
• Engineering drawings and design documentation for fabrication and assembly
• Custom fixtures, brackets, mounts, and test-support hardware
• Prototype development, 3D-printable designs, and fit-check iterations
• Design reviews, feasibility assessments, and improvements for manufacturability and assembly
I welcome both focused assignments and broader development projects, working with individual inventors, startups, and established teams across industries.
My approach is collaborative: understand what the hardware needs to do, identify the important constraints, and agree on clear deliverables before starting. Work included lifting and test fixtures, assembly carts, transportation hardware, requirements definition, design reviews, assembly, proof testing, and equipment-certification reviews.
