I have substantial experience in multi-axis CNC programming for high-speed, horizontal and vertical milling centers as well as multi-axis Swiss lathes (Citizen) via Mastercam. I am very well versed in a variety of materials and have years experience programming complex, multi-surfaced components to simple components, for short run prototypes, high speed, long run production and high-confidence lights out operations. In addition I have many years experience in CAD modeling and design via Solidworks 2018 including part, assembly and prints of which I also own one seat of latest 2018 version including Solid Works Simulation and the new, very impressive Solid Works Visualize. With Visualize I have the ability to not only design full solid models and assemblies but also create incredible, rendered real world pictures and images. I have designed, prototyped, sourced and brought to market several products from the ground up in various market segments including industrial, medical, food processing and aerospace. Strangely enough, I was a recreation therapist for almost 20 years. Prior to that, I earned a degree in fine art and then didn't do too much with it because I became more interested in psychology. Meanwhile, I've had an interest in RC cars and robotics. Leveraging an innate talent for engineering and my previous sculpting prowess, I now own and operate a boutique 3D design and 3D printing studio. From home decor and sculptural objects to machine parts and custom things, I pretty much do it all. I'm experienced in prototyping as well as fine art pieces. My primary design tools are Fusion 360, Meshmixer and Prusa Slicer. I also have 8 high-quality 3D printesr ready to fabricate prototypes or finished products. This includes full-color prints in the following materials, TPU, PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS, PC, nylon as well as reinforced and specialty polymers. I can do post-processing such as vapor smoothing, flame polishing, sealing/coating, bonding and welding.

According to the building code, most smaller home improvement projects, even new home construction, do not require plans prepared by an architect. The builder/owner are allowed to prepare and submit proposed plans directly to a Town or City for review and permits. The bulk of my projects have been decks, patio roofs, stairs, sheds, garages, additions, renovations, and code violations. I have over 30 years of experience in drafting using CAD - architectural, civil/site, structural, or MEP.
