I’m a drafter who will draw up plans for you as an owner or a builder/contractor that a Town or City building department requires to review.
A builder/contractor connection, preferably local, would be welcomed.
Working directly with a builder and a drafter can save time and money to the owner. According to the building code, most smaller home improvement projects, even new home construction, do not require plans prepared by an architect. The builder/owner are allowed to prepare and submit proposed plans directly to a Town or City for review and permits.
The bulk of my projects have been decks, patio roofs, stairs, sheds, garages, additions, renovations, and code violations.
I have over 30 years of experience in drafting using CAD - architectural, civil/site, structural, or MEP. Familiar with building codes, ADA (handicapped) codes, specs, estimating, surveying, construction process. I do not stamp plans.
My goal is to provide you with a reasonable rate.
