Hi there! My name is Colin Cormier. I'm new to CadCrowd, but I'm a freelance product designer in the Cincinnati area with focuses in CAD, fabrication, and prototyping. I've completed work for P&G, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Boeing, and Sauder among many others over the 5 years I've spent in the field. When I'm not busy building stuff, I teach 3D modeling and rapid prototyping at my alma mater, the University of Cincinnati. I am a mechanical engineer with experience in the design and development of consumer products and medical devices. I have been involved in every step of the product development process--from initial ideation and prototyping to failure testing and inspection. I have also completed a number of reverse engineering projects. I am an experienced user of SolidWorks, PTC Creo, and Siemens NX. I currently use OnShape for CAD and drawing needs, unless a specific program request is made. Also, with a background in visual art, I am used to working closely with industrial and graphic designers and creating reports and presentations for marketing teams and customers.

I’m a Senior in Highschool in pursuit of some sort of way to apply my engineering skills in areas other than school. InAugust I will being going to school for Aerospace Engineering and I'd like to start saving to pay for it.
