I am an inquisitive, self-learning student currently gaining hands-on experience while finishing my college education. Currently, I am working towards a BS in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Systems at California Baptist University. Outside of school, I am heavily involved in the collegiate design competition Formula SAE where I lead a team of six engineering students in designing, fabricating, and validating the chassis and ergonomic systems of Cal Baptist Racings' sixth competing internal combustion racecar. In the past, I have worked in a variety of roles in multiple fields, including electrical, warehouse, and student life, where I have gained experience in teamwork and the execution of engineering solutions. My plan for the future is to continue gaining engineering experience through Formula SAE, summer internships, and scholastic projects.

I graduated from the University of Arkansas in the Spring of 2016 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering with Pre-Med distinctions. I hold minors in English, History, and Mathematics. While attending University I contributed part time as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Narasimhan Rajaram Ph.D. in the development of optical imaging instrumentation and biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and monitoring tumor response to therapy. My primary curriculum focus included Neurology, Nano technology, Advanced Prosthesis, and integration of bio technologies involving the neurological pathways, 3D design, 3D printing, CAD drafting, Structural engineering, and Mechanical Engineering techniques. I currently hold the position of Design Engineer for Berkley Industries. My primary focus is developing new and innovative mechanical and Industrial devices for a myriad of clients for a variety of needs. I previously held the position of Principle Design Engineer for R&R Solutions in Gravette Arkansas. I oversaw in charge all engineering projects, and custom design projects from the initial concept to the production run. I had the privilege of holding a position with NX Utilities as the Regional Quality Engineer for the Midwest. I planned and directed activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial design , materials, and products related to the fiber optic network pathways for major utility conglomerates. Before my NX days, I held the title of Engnieer/Designer for Advanced Lightening Technologies. I have made the most of every opportunity to study under expert craftsmen, inventors, product designers, doctors, and engineers to hone his ability to bring increasingly more complex new products to reality. This includes working with some of the foremost physicians tackling difficult challenges in current and next generation LVADs, artificial hearts, blood pumps, and other highly complex class III medical devices. Products I have designed and built are in Times Square, the Disney Parks, the Smithsonian, and implanted in people around the world. To date, I am named as inventor on a half dozen granted and pending patents, including core technologies in products for companies such as Baxa (now Baxter), Thoratec (now Abbott), and Covidien (now Abbott). I started my engineering training with a B.S. Engineering Degree, with a Mechanical Specialty from the Colorado School of Mines. I ontinue my education by working with many Industry & Trade Associations, University Programs, Business Groups and start-up Incubators.
