Been a design specialist for 13 years working primarily in Solidworks. I have designed automated tooling and machines for some of the biggest corporations such as Cummins, fiat, Chevy and many more. Specialize in problem solving and machine building to fit a products needs. I have knowledge and experience in 3D printing as well as CNC manufacturing as I worked in a machine shop for over a decade running mills, lathes, and running a quality control department. That being said I know what it takes to make a part manufacturable and to standard.

I have over 15 years experience in mechanical design. A quick overview of the types of projects I have designed are; automotive parts assembly, vision and probe inspection systems, manual and automated inspection fixturing, medical tool assembly machinery, product handling and packaging, robot cells, electronics assembly and inspection, and the list goes on. Before designing I was a machinist and machine assembler. I learned most of my skills in the real world and have taken classes to expand my knowledge even further. I am a machinist and fabricator first, but have extensive experience with 2D and 3D CAD design, modeling, drafting and CAM programming. While not any type of engineer on paper, I have collaborated with some of the smartest people (engineers and technicians alike) I believe exist in several very specific corners of the manufacturing world. My number one goal in designing a part/product/etc. for someone, is to fully understand the expectations of the client...then hopefully carrying those initial ideas to the final stage. Approaching everything with a meticulous, analytical mindset helps enable me to devise more efficient methods of solving problems. What have you got for me to look at?
