Hello, I'm Lucian and I'm CAD Design Engineer/ Industrial Design Engineer My work experience: 2016: I started to study Industrial Design at Polytechnic University of Bucharest - UPB, where I learned which is the process of design and development of a product and learned how to use CAD Tools (Autodesk Inventor and Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD). 2017: I was a volunteer at ICPE SAERP S.A. ICPE SAERP S.A is a private Romanian company, focused on research, design, development and manufacture of urban traction driving equipment. 2018: I started my internship at “Renault Technologie Roumanie” in 3D Printing department. It was my first professional internship in automotive industry. Here I learned more good things which helped me in my career as a design engineer. 2019: I worked for "Fibonacci Printing solutions", is a small company, where I worked as a 3D CAD designer and used 3D printers. My activity at Fibonacci 3D printing solutions was to design different parts / products that customers wanted. 2020: I worked for "Suntem 3D" and I started the EPS project within University. EPS is European Project Semester which was in Romania. I was part of an international team where we worked close with National Institute for Research and Development for Textiles and Leather - INCDTP. It has been more than 3 years since I fell in love with jewelry design and up to this moment, it has been my main occupation every day of the year. My base profession is architecture and interior design, which I have been doing for about 10 years. That being said, I was lucky to start with a lot of advantages such as familiarity with plenty of modeling software programs, the knowledge of volumetric composition and especially the inclusive nature of dealing with a design project whilst considering everyone involved in the production process when conceiving each project. All of these qualities helped me learn this art quickly and successfully, as up to this point, I have finished more than 200 jewelry models that are being produced and retailed all around the world. I have showcased some of the best examples of my design concepts in the portfolio section of my profile if you would like to get a better idea about my capabilities. Having dedicated a serious amount of my time during the past couple of years to this area of work, I have become familiar with the entire production process, from conceptual sketching and 3D modeling to casting, refining of the metal, stone setting and even marketing, as it is very important that the designs we conceive sell and provide profit to your company. By having in mind the entire process and the tasks which everyone involved in producing jewelry I can considerably reduce the trial and error period (which can be very long and tiring sometimes, if these aspects are not taken into consideration) and will also offer a high level of quality to the jewelry product. Based on previous experience in design services and 5 years of intense freelancing, I have learned that maintaining an open, transparent relationship with everyone involved in a job or project is the best way of achieving great results hence the satisfaction of a job well done from both the client and the freelancer That being said, regardless of the duration that any job has, be it long or short term, you will always have my undivided focus and dedication prior, during and after having the work done. I am usually available 24/7, working almost all of the time, as jewelry design is my deepest passion and I enjoy doing it all day long.
