I'm a Mechanical Engineer (NIT Andhra Pradesh, B.Tech 2026) and the founder of Aerora Dynamics, an industrial UAV startup building heavy-payload drones. I lead end-to-end mechanical design for autonomous multi-rotor aircraft: weight budgets, aerodynamic clearances, structural stress conditions, and Design-for-Manufacturing from day one — not CAD models that look good but can't be built. Recent proof of work: I took a hexacopter chassis (25 kg MTOW, 10 kg payload capacity) from a SolidWorks parametric assembly through FEA validation to CNC-aluminum prototype coordination. The arm-to-socket junction was redesigned twice against simulation data before reaching a 1.78x safety factor at rated load. That's the standard I hold every project to. CORE EXPERTISE - Complex 3D parametric modeling in SolidWorks 2024 and Fusion 360 - Design for Manufacturing (DfM): CNC machining, carbon-fiber layup, injection molding, 3D printing - FEA: static stress, displacement, fatigue, and modal analysis - Structural optimization: mass reduction under load constraints - Hardware-software integration: MATLAB/Simulink kinematic modeling - SITL export: URDF/SDF models for ROS2/Gazebo environments - GD&T per ISO/ANSI standards, full tolerance stack-up analysis TOOL CHAIN Primary: SolidWorks 2024 Secondary: Autodesk Fusion 360, CATIA V5, PTC Creo Parametric, AutoCAD Simulation: ANSYS Workbench, SolidWorks Simulation Manufacturing: GD&T, tolerance analysis, DfM/DFA review WHAT YOU GET Native CAD files, STEP/IGES/STL/DXF exports, an FEA report with boundary conditions and results documented, a full technical drawing set, and a BOM ready for procurement.
