I Studied Civil Engineering in Dublin Institute of Technology. Studied and Received a BSC in Energy & Environmental Engineering from the Institute of Technology Tallaght. 4 years drawing experience from DBFL CIVIL & STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS, where I worked as an AutoCad Technician. Specialized in Drainage Design, Residential and Commercial Projects and Roads and Infrastructure. I also have worked in other consultancies such as Punch Consulting Engineers and also have experience within Architectural Roles. Currently I work for Hayes Higgins Partnership a Civil, Structural, Mechanical/Electrical and Environmental Consultancy. I specialize in Pyrite Remediation and Storm Water Drainage. I am progressing at the moment in advancing my cad skills and soon will be BIM Qualified, where I will utilize programs such as Revit/V-Ray and Civil 3D in the near future.

I personally love using CAD, both in university and outside. I have been using all types of CAD including SolidWorks, Solid Edge and AutoCAD, and I am very proficient in Solid Edge and SolidWorks, and I have a certificate of competency from SIEMENS on the use of Solid Edge 2020. I also have a linked interest in machining (both CNC and non) and I love seeing how parts are machined from billet materials into complex multi-axis parts. In my latest university group project, we were assigned a project to complete a full design report for a hydrogen powered vehicle. I was assigned the role of mechanical designer due to students in my group recognising my proficiency in the use of CAD from my previous university work. We decided to design a hydrogen power unit for use in a golf buggy. We chose a golf buggy as it easily fit the specification for a hydrogen powered vehicle, due to the short range needed, and always returning to the same clubhouse each day (which can be used as a refuelling depot). I have designed a fully assembled & working Solid works CAD model of a Wankel-rotary engine for this project (I can attach the design report, including the CAD visualisations and manufacturing drawings, as supporting documents).

Hi There, I am detail driven AutoCAD Specialist who produces high quality CAD drawings at an a affordable price. I have 5 & a half years industry experience producing CAD drawings for various projects. This experience has given me a deep knowledge of understanding of CAD & meeting deadlines that clients like yourself need to meet. I have worked on many major projects within Ireland. The main ones would be. 1. Capital Dock: Irelands largest building, In this project I worked with the main contractor to produce detail drawings / plans until the end of the project. This included working to deadlines & meeting the clients needs in a timely manner. 2. The Exo Building, Irelands largest commercial building, In this project I also worked with the main contractor to produce detail drawings / plans. I was also involved on site a lot more in order to verify the work being done by our contractors was to a high standard. In my past experience the best way to produce a set of drawings to a client is to follow the below process. I receive the information from the client regarding the drawings in which they wish for me to produce. I draft up the first set of drawings & send them back to the client for review / comment. If the client has any comments they can mark up the drawing & send the comments back to me. I revise the drawing as per the clients comment made & send the final drawing back to client for approval / sign off.
