I also have an extensive knowledge of metal manufacturing and processing (machining, sheet metal, stamping, welding), plastics injection molding and 3D printing. I offer not only design and engineering service, but the complete process of product development from your idea to product launch: CAD design from first sketches • concept design • rendered images for funding and marketing purposes Detailed design and engineering of assembly and parts • material selection • engineering analysis and simulation (motion, structural, fluid flow, cooling, …) • design for manufacturing and assembly Technical drawings and documentation • complete product technical documentation (assembly and parts drawings, bill of materials, assembly instructions) • user manuals Prototyping & testing • product prototype manufactured by 3D printing/CNC machining/Rapid Injection Molding/Sheet Metal • network of dozens established and verified prototyping suppliers • in-house FDM 3D printer adequate for small quantities and very short lead time • prototype suitable for testing of functionality, funding purposes, or it can serve as a minimum viable product to test your idea Serial production • design optimization for high volume production • production cost optimization • network of dozens established and verified manufacturing suppliers Together with my collaborators, we can also offer industrial design and electronics/PCB design if it is required for your project. I'm proficient and prefer to design in PTC Creo, but I can also design in the CAD software of your choice (SolidWorks, Inventor, SolidEdge, Catia). For 2D .dwg and .dxf drafting I use Draftsight. In the product development I often use FEM and CFD analysis to simulate the product behavior in real world environment, to reduce the number of iterations in the prototyping and testing phase of the product design. For simulations I use SimScale and Ansys.
