My name is Andreas Leventakis. I am a Mechanical Engineer from Greece passionate about designing and manufacturing new things whether these are a formula style car or a mold. My experience through CAD softwares is more than 6 years and Creativity is a word that defines me. Currently, I am working as a mechanical engineer designer at a "one stop shop" where designing, machining and injection molding is taking place. Therefore i am familiar with both manufacturing and injection molding processes.

After graduating I started teaching mechanical engineering (2001-2011) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and I was the one who introduced SOLIDWORKS as a 3D CAD solution to the Engineering school (2006). While teaching Machine Design using 3D CAD (2009-2011) I offered my students the opportunity, as part of their studies, to obtain the CSWA as an additional certificate for their knowledge. I am a Mechanical Engineer from Greece with just over 15 years’ experience in the field of manufacturing and precision machining. My university degree in Mechanical Engineering gave me an excellent combination of skills in engineering. Since I graduated, I’ve gained significant practical experience in engineering design, project management and planning. Early in my career as a Mechanical Design Engineer, I gained experience on 3D CAD design and FEA analysis, using CATIA V5, SolidWorks (CSWP), ANSYS FEA and SolidCAM software. I’ve also gained experience in fatigue analysis of complex medium and heavy structures using ANSYS and nCode DesignLife packages.
