I am a Mechanical Engineer with focus on Industrial Design and Facilities Study. I have attended 3D design classes and have been involved in various projects at the Technical University of Crete. During my thesis, I designed and manufactured a 3D soft robotic gripper. My background studies have provided me with the skills to design objects with different geometries. I obtained my degree as a Mechanical Engineer from the TEI of Crete (2000). After graduating I started teaching mechanical engineering (2001-2011) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and I was the one who introduced SOLIDWORKS as a 3D CAD solution to the Engineering school (2006). While teaching Machine Design using 3D CAD (2009-2011) I offered my students the opportunity, as part of their studies, to obtain the CSWA as an additional certificate for their knowledge.
