As an architect intrigued by the emerging technologies and the contemporary digital realm, his work explores the impact of applied computation on the ways we design, construct and inhabit the built environment. I am a Mechanical Engineer from Greece with just over 15 years’ experience in the field of manufacturing and precision machining. My university degree in Mechanical Engineering gave me an excellent combination of skills in engineering. Since I graduated, I’ve gained significant practical experience in engineering design, project management and planning. Early in my career as a Mechanical Design Engineer, I gained experience on 3D CAD design and FEA analysis, using CATIA V5, SolidWorks (CSWP), ANSYS FEA and SolidCAM software. I’ve also gained experience in fatigue analysis of complex medium and heavy structures using ANSYS and nCode DesignLife packages. Throughout my engineering career I’ve worked for a number of important companies helping them to plan and implement complex engineering projects ranging from medium to heavy steel structures through to food processing machines, special purpose machines and precision engineering. Over that time, I’ve been reaching goals and exceeding expectations. Also, I have been working with external clients as a freelance engineer and I have designed a number of hydraulic trailers for large boats with total success.
