For the past two years, I have led mechanical development at Kevares, a Canadian robotics startup building autonomous platforms for sidewalk maintenance. My role spans the entire hardware lifecycle: from concept definition to manufacturability and field validation, while coordinating decisions across mechanical, electrical, and software teams. I’ve designed and integrated aluminum sheet metal structures, modular attachments (mowing, snow removal, salting), and PETG FDM 3D printed parts, always applying Design for Manufacturing principles and ensuring aesthetic consistency without compromising performance. I worked daily in English with engineers, suppliers, and partners across multiple countries, mentor engineering students, and conduct hands-on collaboration with manufacturers.
