I develop complex ideas into buildable, working systems by bringing together design, electronics, code, and validation for a final system that works reliably and reproducibly. Background PhD neuroscientist and biomedical engineering postdoc at UBC’s School of Biomedical Engineering. My job is to design experiments, develop research instruments, and pair them with analysis pipelines for publications and open-source release. This same toolkit extends to non-research projects, including prototype mechanisms, instrumentation, and production-ready CAD. Having landed in Canada (Vancouver) in 1988, he was eager to be working as a mechanical engineering design professional despite he was a machinery and equipment maintenance engineer before coming to Canada. Took a multitude of part time CAD and VB programming courses. He also took BCIT - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design Technology in 2003. He is a hard worker and continuously upgrade his CAD design and drafting skills and find solutions to work faster, smarter and free of errors. His Autodesk Inventor skills is excellent: Always explore how to create better sketches, consider modelling with design changes and detailing friendly.
