Growing up in an advanced mult-axis CNC machine shop and furthering my experience with studies in International Industrial Product Design Marketing and Mechanical Engineering I bring 25 years of theory and deep experience in the hands on / real world aspects of how precision industrial, medical, food processing, commercial, aerospace and consumer product products are conceptualized, prototyped and later produced and sourced. I have substantial experience in multi-axis CNC programming for high-speed, horizontal and vertical milling centers as well as multi-axis Swiss lathes (Citizen) via Mastercam. I am very well versed in a variety of materials and have years experience programming complex, multi-surfaced components to simple components, for short run prototypes, high speed, long run production and high-confidence lights out operations. In addition I have many years experience in CAD modeling and design via Solidworks 2018 including part, assembly and prints of which I also own one seat of latest 2018 version including Solid Works Simulation and the new, very impressive Solid Works Visualize. With Visualize I have the ability to not only design full solid models and assemblies but also create incredible, rendered real world pictures and images. I have designed, prototyped, sourced and brought to market several products from the ground up in various market segments including industrial, medical, food processing and aerospace. (including sheet metal, injection molded parts and of course precision machined parts with very tight tolerances). I currently own a Okuma MB-4000H Multi-Axis Horizontal Milling Center in which I can complete advanced protoypes to high speed, long run production runs. I started working as a design engineer in 1992 at WEFOMA in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Germany), where I also completed my apprenticeship as a toolmaker. In the period 1992-1996 I did my studies as a technician at the Max-Eyth School in Stuttgart, which I successfully completed in January 1997. Until our emigration to Switzerland in 2008, I was able to gain design experience in various areas at the WEFOMA company. The design of aluminum die casting molds and of drawing and punching tools were my main focus, as well as drawing creation and data preparation on the Catia V5 system. From October 2008 to August 2021 I worked for the company KEBO. (Switzerland) My responsibilities ranged from the design of plastic injection molds for well-known customers in the medical and packaging industries, assistance in new developments and innovations, design of complex assemblies, detailed designs and drawing derivations, the supervision of the production process to the support of data preparation, archiving and all data traffic. The safe handling of the CAD system Siemens NX in connection with Teamcenter is self-evident for me, so that I also give internal trainings in this area. In addition, I have built up and expanded standardization to ensure easier and more efficient work. From April 2015 to March 2016, I was appointed in the context of a partnership with a company in the USA, to build up a new design office and to introduce the new software Solid-Works. Unlike many other injection mold designs who only try to complete their mold construction as FAST as possible so they can take your money and disappear. I am willing to put in an extra hour double check just to make sure my mold assembly is working well. Definitely, you do not have to pay me a single cent for this. I’ve found the biggest problem in the injection mold is the flash slider in plastic sample. There are too many reasons but the main reason is the looking heel did not cover all the elements. If the mold support plate is not strong enough when the mold run under high pressure, the support plate will get deflection. If the value of deformation is higher air venting depth of material, flash will appear. If we were to work together, you just need to provide me with the basic information about your prospects, products/services… Answer some questions that might have and I do all the rest.
