Edit your job application rates and details

After applying for a job contract, you can edit your application if you decide to modify your rates or conditions.

Steps to edit your application:

  1. Visit My applications
  2. Scroll down to Your applications > click View application button
  3. Scroll down > click Edit application button
  4. Edit your application details > click Submit application button

If you want to edit your application after you begin the interview process with a client, ensure you tell the client about the updated application and make sure they agree to the changes. Clear communication about your updated application avoids potential miscommunication.

The updates to your application could include adjustments to your rates, pricing, timelines, workflow, or deliverables that differ from your initial application. Changes may also involve assigning a different individual to help with a fixed-rate job contract (client permission is required to maintain IP and confidentiality).

Remember that allowing another individual to use your account with the hourly job contract is strictly prohibited and violates Cad Crowd’s terms of service. If another individual is needed to help with an hourly project, the person must create a separate account on Cad Crowd.

Clients can only view your total rate, which includes the platform service fees. Remember to include the service fees with your rates to avoid underpayment for your job contract.

📡 Remember: If client has already hired you for a job contract, you cannot edit your contract terms without the client’s permission. Intentionally modifying your application without the client’s consent after receiving a job offer is against Cad Crowd’s terms of service. Similarly, your client must request your approval to edit the terms of an active job contract.

You might have to terminate your contract with the client if they disagree with the updated terms of an active job contract. First, attempt resolving the issue with the client and inform them if you want to close a contract. Maintaining transparency and clear communication ensures that all parties are well-informed and aware of the situation.
