Inactive fixed-rate job contracts

Job contracts with an escrow milestone deposit and no activity for 90 days are considered “inactive.” The escrow funds for inactive contracts can be automatically released to prevent the funds from being held for an extended period.

Suppose a job contract milestone is nearing the 90-day deadline for inactivity and is unlikely to become in the future. In that case, we suggest you and the expert determine whether to release or refund your milestone escrow payment.

🚀 Tip: We advise keeping an open milestone (due date within 90 days) to prevent the platform from changing your job contract to inactive.
