To be fair the SkyCloud Vaporizer is a brand new vaporizer and it took about 1,000+ man hours to complete. So a $360 project prize seems hardly worth it for this.

Bottle Boxer
We currently box 6 little bottles by hand and would like to automate the procedure. We box 3000 gift pack a day. Our current procedure is: We lay down 300 open boxes on a table and put each bottle one at the time inside the box. We would like to automate this process. Currently, the bottles are just put in bins and we grab them by hand. Or we can have them nicely standing up in a custom made bins that are open at the front.
Robot "Desk Defender" that Fires Foam Missiles
I need help designing a stationary desktop robot that fires foam missiles and I'm looking for an interesting concept design. This robot would sit on someone's desk, connected to a computer, and would have the ability to fire foam missiles, motion track, and talk. It would: * Plug into a computer with USB * Be a stationary robot with no legs, it would sit on some sort of platform and needs to stay balance as it rotates * Have a motion sensor * Have a small built-in camera * Have LED eyes and maybe mouth * Have an internal speaker for talking and making sounds * Rotate left and right on its platform * Have foam missiles either on its arms or on a separate missile launching arm. The arm they are firing from should be able to rotate up and down for targeting. It should be between 13 and 17 cm tall and at least 10 cm across (roughly).
Garbage Disposal
Need to design under the sink garbage disposal unit. There are lot of garbage disposals made with a purpose of kitchen waste disposal. The envelope size will be around 6 inches in diameter and about 8-10 inches long. The unit will utilize 1/3 or 1/2 HP motor.
Angled Keyboard Slide
The design requires a clean simple method with minimized parts and manufacturing costs. Product is low volume, 250 to 500 pieces per year. We are interested in minimizing capital tooling costs. Design challenge is to design a keyboard slide platform that sits at a 32.5 degree angle (see attached documents). Keyboard slide needs to easily lock in upward position when not in use, and needs to easily be released and slide downward when in use. The keyboard slide is on a cart platform, so when the cart is being moved around, if it gets bumped, we do not want the keyboard slide to dislodge and slip into the down position.
Leaside Project
I am building a new home and require innovative interior architectural design options ( kitchen, family room, living room and powder room) that will accommodate an exterior elevation that is already defined. One of the most important aspects to this assignment is the location of the interior foyer relative to the location of stairs that go up to the 2nd floor and down to the basement. The desired design of the foyer is to be defined in terms of its presence but not in a manner that it takes away from the interior space in a significant manner. Once a 1st floor layout is approved, the need to prepare a modern and eye catching interior design (with furniture, crown holding, tray ceilings, wainscotting, etc. ) with photo like renderings will be required. I have attached the exterior elevation (which is reversed to the actual location of the garage) but it provides a sense of the foyer location. I have also provided a PDF of the ground floor footprint that we have to work with. The dimensions of the foot print is fixed. This ground floor plan design is not the optimal in terms of the foyer so we are looking for innovative designs that will fit within the plan dimensions and our needs..
