Hello designers!

CloudNC is running a competition to produce CAD for a CNC machined bottle opener that we can produce in-house and hand out as gifts to investors, staff and visitors.

It should be 3-axis machinable (milling only), designed for manufacture (no incredibly tight radii e.g. or internal corners), and look contemporary.

You can recommend a material. Multiple parts/materials are acceptable if pretty trivial to assemble, e.g. with a standard M-thread screw.

Wants:
Designs will be evaluated based on:
- Modern/contemporary aesthetics.
- Functionality - it must reliably and safely open beer bottles.
- Creativity - is it relatively unique versus bottle openers most people have come across?
- Manufacturability - it must be CNC machinable (milling) in a reasonable amount of time.
- Size - it should fit in a pocket.
- Logo - it should have our logo engraved or embossed somewhere.

If you think we're not being creative enough and have an idea for an awesome machinable knick-knack that isn't a bottle opener, please also submit. There are multiple prizes, and we can award an additional first-prize size reward for something inspiring that we go on to manufacture.

STEP and solidworks or onshape is preferred.

Bamboo Kitchen Organizer
Hi! We would like to ask you for your help to bring our bamboo snack organizer from concept to reality. We are creating a new snack organizer product for the market that will be made out of bamboo and contain a lazy susan turntable mechanic to it. Technical skill or experience with these elements would be helpful. We want to develop a product that serves the higher end of the market. With quality material and a beautiful modern design. Currently, we already have a vision of what the organizer should look like, but we need to bring our idea's to 3D models that we can use to bring to production. We are combining elements of different products and will use these products as references to come up with a final design. For the overall design two products are almost being "thrust" together to get the initial design concept. And then other products are being used as a guide for the secondary details. There is a specific design in mind for the final product but everything needs to be brought together to ensure a high quality design and optimum functionality. In the attached file, you can find a design document with instructions and several example images of related products (with elements being merged). We want to ask you to use this guide to design a product that has the perfect look and feel. Please provide full dimensions for each side/element of the design. I created most of the floor plan but I need the following: final design, structural engineer to include the pillar and beam design. I want to least amount of pillars so I do not have a limit on the size of pillars. 1. Every part of the building that can be concrete will be concrete 2. All walls are hollow block 3. All floors are poured concrete 4. All roofs are poured concrete 5. All terrace/balconies are poured concrete 6. All stairs are poured concrete 7. All doors are at least 36 inches 8. No spiral staircases 9. please design the electrical to US standard 10. please design the plumbing too 11. please design the pool mechanics too. the location for the pool mechanics is labeled on the attached drawing 12. please include the septic tank 13. the ground floor will be 6 feet above current grade. we will back fill under and around the building as needed 14. the basement will be 6 feet tall 15. the distance from the ground floor to the bottom of the first floor is 12 feet 16. the distance from the floor of the first floor to the bottom of the roof deck is 12 feet 17. we will use steel decking under the first floor and the roof deck concrete slabs 18. we will have solar system with panels mounted on the roof deck 19. the location of the solar system and generator is labeled on the attached drawing 20.
