Design two symmetrical Rhombicuboctahedrons (Rohm' for short) for printing on Prusa 3D MK2.
The 1st Rhom' needs to be made of 2 parts that can be connected to form the complete shape.
The width of the Rhom' should be 100nn from face to face.
Each edge of this Rhom' needs to have a 5mm high 'fence' sticking outward.
Two inner benches or plates need to be constructed in the inner space of each of the halves.
The 2nd Rhom' is also made of 2 parts but without fences and without benches. It is a simple Rhom'. It needs to fit exactly on the 1st Rhom' from the outside. so that the 1st Rohm' go inside the second one.
The attached jpg and max files depict the 1st Rhom'. However the max file is full of mistakes and should not be used as anything but as a general reference. Nor the 'fences' need to be constructed as V shape as in the max files.
Please ask me anything which is not clear.
The resulting gcode file must be designed and tuned for Prusa 3D MK2 including proper support etc, and needs to print without problems on Prusa MK2.

All the changes are added. STL file names may need to be changed when you import them to printing software. I used thickness value in the file name like "0.9mm". The dot in the file names may not accept by some softwares.
If all these are acceptable then I'll upload solidworks files in another submission.

You have STL files of both top and bottom attached. The parts have a 2mm wall thickness and per your dimensions.
Neither of these two parts should require supports to print. I'm not real clear on the "fence" profile that is wanted.

This model is accurate for 3d printing straight after download.
Wall thickness maintained as per requirements.
5mm Fence also prints well with no problems.
Bench is designed inside both halves and also a non-bench version is included if required.
Rom1 fits exactly inside Rom2
Rom upper and lower halfs have lips(grooves at the edge) for easy and tight fixing both into one piece.
Model is 3d printing ready. Let me know if you need more customization.

3D Printing Design | Meet the minimum thinkness on two small parts of my 3D STL file for Shapeways!
I need someone to make a certain part of my 3D anchor stl file a little thicker. Nothing complicated at all! The guy that was working on this file is really swamped with work and cannot complete this edit. This job should literally take less than 30 minutes if you know what you are doing. On the attached picture it shows that I need to make specific parts of the anchor a little thicker to meet the minimum supported wire thickness of .8mm. Here's what the email I recieved from shapeways said: "Here is why we cannot print your model: The minimum thickness for free/supporting wires > 1.0mm and supported wires > 0.8mm for this material. Please thicken the wires of the model." I have specified what needs to be done on the picture attached. Please message me if you need clarification. If you know what you are doing and have worked with stl. files and understand the thickness minimum that shapeways requires for 3d printing then this should be a no-brainer.
