I hold a BSc from the Ohio State University in Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering. During my academics I became deeply interested in plastics and plastic forming technology. I believe we are still in the discovery phase for polymer chemistry and application and have pursued professional exposure developing plastic products and the machines that produce them.

Our clients provide their architectural and mechanical designs for their windows and I develop geometry compatible with their assemblies as well as 2D and 3D CAD files to produce the extrusion equipment that will manufacture the client geometries.

Pyramid is a core and cavity shop that specializes in machinery to manufacture medical equipment. I developed injection mold designs to manufacture syringes, aspirators, and consumer devices. I produced 2D and 3D CAD data for various manufacturing methods including EDM, CNC, lathes and milling. I also consulted with our clients to determine polymer selection and production needs.

Agri-Smart specializes in agricultural machinery for underdeveloped nations. Our target area, Cambodia, has a unique cultural disadvantage an account of the Khmer Rouge regime. Since the 1980s the area has struggled tomaintain safe farming practices and farmers frequently become ill from improper use of farming chemicals. My project was to develop a modular tractor device that unskilled users could easily repair or modify and that reduces or eliminates the likelihood of exposure to pesticides, herbicides, insecticides and fertilizer. I managed a team of four and interfaced with three stakeholders to deliver the technology, bill of materials, and list of suppliers to produce our tractor component locally in Cambodia.
