I graduated in May of 2022 with a Bachelor's in Industrial and Innovative Design. The next day I flew halfway across the world with some of my classmates and one of our professors. We spent a week in Kosovo, giving talks on design, teaching English, and acting as judges in their first ever STEM fair. That experience helped me understand the role that design plays in providing a new way of seeing the world, especially in a country that is just learning how to dream for the first time.
I brought that experience into my first job post-grad, a small design firm in Columbus, OH. Design is much more than the form or even the function of a product, it's asking questions and being open to an unexpected answer.

When I was in 7th grade, I was introduced to STEAM through a national science competition. From a young age, being encouraged to engage with and imagine a new future completely shifted my outlook of the world. Ever since then, it's been my goal to engage with the most challenging obstacles of our time, and I chose to do so through the practice of design.

I love understanding how and why things work, whether that's getting lost in the details of my coffee routine, listening to podcasts on niche topics, or just paying attention to the world around me.

I graduated in 2022, Summa Cum Laude, with a BA in Industrial and Innovative Design.
During my time at school, I volunteered at a jail every Sunday until that program was suspended due to Covid.
To connect with the other design students at my school I also participated in the ID org on campus.
As I got into my Junior and Senior year, I was even more involved with leadership in the design sphere. I served on the leadership team my senior year, assisting with their mentorship program and meeting regularly with the other members to discuss upcoming events and policies.
