About
Hello, I'm Wilfried, a French mechanical designer based in Tangier, Morocco. I have been working in SolidWorks for almost 20 years, first in design offices in France, then as a freelancer, with 49 projects completed and rated 5 stars.
In France I worked for companies in rail, automotive, aerospace, optics and storage equipment. One project I'm proud of is a harness for guide dogs: I designed it, made the prototypes, then built the first 500 units.
Since 2019 I have been a Project Manager and Laser Expert in Tangier. I handle laser welding, marking and engraving machines from start to finish: sale, installation, training of the client's technicians, maintenance and repair. I was trained by the manufacturers in Europe, and I also design robot grippers for plastic injection. This shop-floor work means I design parts that are easy to make, assemble and maintain.
