I am a Mechanical Engineering student and CAD designer specialising in mechanical modelling, product design, and engineering drawings. I combine my engineering knowledge with practical CAD skills to develop accurate 3D models and translate design concepts into clear, functional engineering solutions.

I work with SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD to support mechanical design, 3D modelling, 2D drafting, and engineering documentation.

I am a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) and the winner of the FUTMX SolidWorks User Group Network Intermediate CAD Sunday Challenge. These achievements reflect my commitment to technical development, design accuracy, and continuous improvement in mechanical CAD.

Mechanical CAD Designer Self-employed · Freelance May 2024 – Present 2 yrs 5 mos Nigeria Designing and modelling mechanical components using computer-aided design (CAD) tools, with a focus on 3D part modelling, engineering design, and technical visualization. My project experience includes creating models of gears, shafts, bearings, pulleys, pistons, and other mechanical components.

I apply engineering principles to develop accurate models, interpret component geometry, and improve design quality. I also work on developing my skills in mechanical design, assembly modelling, engineering drawings, and design for manufacturing.

I am continuously developing my skills in computer-aided design, engineering design, and product visualization to create practical and manufacturable engineering solutions.

Other experience

MKV Academy Ambassador Serving as an MKV Academy Ambassador, promoting CAD education, engineering design, and professional development within the engineering community. Supporting awareness of CAD learning opportunities and encouraging students and aspiring engineers to develop their skills in 3D modelling, mechanical design, and computer-aided design.
