BIM Structural Design Engineer | Infrastructure Asset Management | Building Smarter and Stronger with Technology
I'm a Civil Engineer who designs complex reinforced concrete buildings and uses BIM to deliver them clash-free and ready to build. I graduated with Excellent with Honors (88.26%) from Damietta University, ranked 4th in my department.
What I do:
My work covers the full path from structural analysis to construction-ready drawings. I design commercial, mixed-use, hotel, and residential buildings, including towers of 20+ floors, in line with the Egyptian Code (ECP 203), ACI, and Eurocode. I produce Revit shop drawings for columns, walls, rafts, slabs, and beams, along with BOQs and bar bending schedules. I coordinate with architectural and MEP teams through BIM, and I support site teams with inspections and as-built drawings.
Complex challenges:
-Sky bridges spanning more than 16 m on frictionless-bearing connections on ledge beams.
-Analysis and design of structures rested on other building using bearing supports on corbels.
-Analysis and design of Raft foundation below mean sea level against combined effect of seismic and uplift forces.
-Analysis and Design of 20 floor Mixed use & Commercial towers.
Infrastructure asset management:
I also developed inspection guidelines and condition assessment criteria for bridges, tunnels, underpasses, culverts, and retaining walls based on AASHTO and ACI, so that infrastructure assessments are consistent and reliable.

Beyond projects:
I authored two manual design handbooks, Structural & Hydraulic Design of Water and Transport Infrastructure and Introduction to Soil Mechanics & Foundation Design, and I keep building my skills through diplomas in Structural Dynamics, BIM, and Advanced Structural Design.
