About
I help international clients develop mechanical products from concept through CAD, simulation, prototypes, and manufacturing documentation. I am a Bengaluru-based mechanical and electro-mechanical engineer with approximately five years of experience in precision CNC machinery, biomedical devices, composite structures, and sensor-based systems.
My services include SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor parts and assemblies; manufacturing-ready drawings, GD&T, BOM, and DFM/DFA review; structural and thermal FEA in ANSYS; CFD analysis in ANSYS Fluent; and automation of repetitive CAD and drawing workflows. I communicate design assumptions, deliver editable files and concise reports, and translate analysis results into practical design changes.
Available remotely for focused projects 5–10 hours per week.

Experience
- Electro-Mechanical Engineer Live4est India Pvt Ltd · Full-time Oct 2025 – Present 1 yrs Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Lead a five-member team developing electromechanical subsystems for modular POD products and collaborate with teams in the US, Japan, and Visakhapatnam. Designed, developed, and characterized a sensor-based Water Control Module integrating a China-manufactured cast valve and an IP-rated enclosure for automated flow control and leak prevention. Built prototype assemblies, manufacturing drawings, and verification documentation for production readiness. Coordinated with IAPMO on a certification roadmap covering UPC/cUPC, ASSE 1016, ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1, NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, and water-efficiency testing; supported fire-rated pocket sliding door development and coordinated with ICFRE-IWST on test requirements. Helped develop Bradley, an AI-powered CAD agent for SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor, and automated CAD, drawing, and Autodesk Vault Basic PDM workflows.
- Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer Foundation for Science Innovation & Development, IISc · Full-time Nov 2023 – Sep 2025 1 yrs 10 mos Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Led a cross-functional team of seven to eight at CPDM, IISc, developing Insuflow, an insulin-pump medical device, from mechanical design through prototyping and validation. Developed ratchet-pawl, shape-memory-alloy, lead-screw, and spring-loaded insertion mechanisms. Applied GD&T, DFM/DFA, DFMEA, and FDM/SLA/MJP rapid prototyping. Built ISO-based insulin-delivery accuracy testing with MATLAB motion control and Thorlabs systems and evaluated reservoir break-loose/glide forces to ISO 11040-4. Performed ANSYS FEA/CFD, two-way FSI, fatigue and impact analyses; developed LS-DYNA push, drop, and steel-ball impact simulations aligned with IEC 60601-1. Used simulation-driven development to reduce R&D costs by 50–60%.
- Assistant Manager - Thermal Engineering Dr. Kalam Center for Innovation, Bharat Fritz Werner Ltd. · Full-time Mar 2022 – Oct 2023 1 yrs 7 mos Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Led a 10-member thermal-technology team and contributed to the development and build of a precision CNC machine. Developed, implemented, and commercialized Intelligent Real-Time Thermal Compensation (iRTC), reducing CNC thermo-structural errors by 80%, maintaining tool-center-point accuracy below 10 microns, and generating INR 30 lakh in revenue per machine. Conducted ISO 230-3 thermal testing and validated ANSYS thermo-structural models against sensor data. Built Python-based AI/ML and physics-informed modules for spindle cooling, ambient-temperature effects, and residual thermal-error compensation; used CFD to optimize coolant flow. Improved productivity by 10–20% through reduced warm-up, rework, and inspection time.
- Thermal Engineer Intern Azista Composites Pvt. Ltd. · Internship Sep 2021 – Mar 2022 6 mos Hyderabad, Telangana, India Supported development of honeycomb-structured composite panels for aerospace applications, using HyperMesh meshing and ANSYS thermo-structural analysis to evaluate laminate failure and design performance. Contributed to resin-transfer molding, vacuum bagging, and carbon-fiber prepreg process development. Supported development and testing of flame-retardant carbon-phthalonitrile composites for high-temperature applications, including cone-calorimeter evaluation and ignition resistance above 400 °C.
