About
Hi, I’m Ibrahim, a 4th-year Mechanical Engineering student at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) with hands-on experience turning 3D models into real, manufactured parts.
As former Mechanical Team Lead of the ITU Electric Vehicles Team, I helped design and build 4 vehicles, including our Shell Eco-marathon 2025 car. I also designed and built a roll cage for a hydrogen vehicle as part of my TÜBİTAK-funded research project.

Other experience
- Principal Investigator – TÜBİTAK 2209-A Research Project Designing and manufacturing the body structure for a hydrogen-powered passenger vehicle. Designed and built the vehicle’s roll cage, revising the design with sponsor manufacturers to make it manufacturable.
- Mechanical Team Lead – ITU Electric Vehicles Team Designed and manufactured parts for 4 competition vehicles, including our Shell Eco-marathon 2025 car. Built carbon fiber body shells, sandwich-panel chassis, seats and steering wheels using hand lay-up and vacuum bagging. As team lead, managed schedules, bills of materials, design revisions and coordination with sponsors for manufacturing.
