About
I run Port Stephens Machining, a small CNC machining and fabrication shop in Salamander Bay, NSW, Australia, and I've been making parts for over 20 years.
My models are built in Fusion 360 using an AI-assisted workflow I developed: every part is fully parametric, every sketch fully constrained, and each model is run against automated checks before I review it myself as a machinist. You get native Fusion files, STEP, drawings and DXFs, usually much faster than a hand-drawn job.
What I do:
- Mechanical design and 3D modelling, fully parametric
- Manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Sheet metal design with flat patterns and DXFs for laser and press brake
- Jigs, fixtures and tooling
- Reverse engineering from a sample part, or a photo and sketch
- CNC programming for mills, lathes and routers
- Design-for-manufacture reviews of your existing model
Nothing leaves here until I've checked it can be made: sensible tolerances, real tool access, standard stock sizes. If needed I can prototype it in my own shop on CNC mills, a CNC lathe, a CNC router and a 3D printer.
Briefs and messages are welcome in any language. I work in English and use AI translation for everything else.
