About
I design industrial machines and steel structures and deliver the drawings a shop needs to build them: 3D models, assembly, part and fabrication drawings, and bills of materials.
I'm a mechanical engineer (Universidad Santo Tomás, Colombia) working as a mechanical designer at a metalworking company. I have designed around 15–20 machines and platforms: vibrating screens, 16" and 20" bucket elevators, screw conveyors, hoppers, bag filters, centrifugal fans and mill structures, with assemblies of up to ~300 parts. For each project I deliver dozens of assembly, sheet metal, profile and machining drawings that go straight to the workshop.
I also run my own carbon fiber workshop, where I have designed and manufactured ~30 part references for cars and motorcycles, so I design with fabrication in mind, not just on screen.
What I deliver:
- 3D models in Autodesk Inventor (Frame Generator, Sheet Metal), SolidWorks and Fusion 360
- Fabrication and shop drawings with AWS weld symbols and ISO 2768 / GD&T tolerances
- Bills of materials, cut lists, flat patterns and DXF files for laser cutting
- Converting sketches, photos or old plans into clean CAD files
