About
I'm an optical engineering master's graduate with 13 years of experience developing imaging equipment, including 13 years focused on OCT and ophthalmic imaging, and 11 granted invention patents. I have led multiple OCT products from concept to mass production: a small-animal ophthalmic ultra-microscopy imaging system, a swept-source OCT + OCTA microcirculation in-vivo imaging system, a strabismus screening system, and a single-cell high-throughput mechanics system. Previously a Research Scientist at the University of Washington's Biophotonics Lab, and a founding shareholder / technical director at medical device startups. I have led a 14-person cross-disciplinary team and hold the Beijing Senior Engineer title. Services: optomechanical system design, optical design and simulation (Zemax), data and quantitative analysis (MATLAB, Python), prototype-to-production transfer, and imaging-system troubleshooting.
