EDIN Studio is a New York-based online product design and engineering studio helping inventors, entrepreneurs, and companies turn ideas into well-developed, manufacturable products.
Founded by Aasin A. Thomas (Ace), an industrial designer and visual artist, EDIN Studio combines industrial design, 3D CAD modeling, design engineering, visualization, and product development into one streamlined process.
I work with clients from the early stages of an idea through detailed CAD and manufacturing documentation. Depending on the project, this can include concept development, 3D modeling, design engineering, DFM/DFA considerations, technical drawings, renderings, animations, and production-ready documentation.
EDIN Studio is fully remote, allowing me to work with clients and project teams anywhere without requiring in-person meetings. Communication is handled online through email, Google Meet, and phone, making the process straightforward for clients who value flexibility and efficiency.
My goal is simple: help develop products correctly, clearly, and professionally.
I believe good product development requires more than making something look good. A successful product needs thoughtful design, accurate CAD, engineering consideration, clear documentation, and attention to how the product will actually be manufactured.
