• I have 40+ years experience in mechanical design and drafting including, but not limited to, design of precision automated machinery. electronic enclosure (sheet metal), precision mechanical/optical devices, HVAC piping, medical devices. Specializing in review of existing drawings, sketches and evaluating design for manufacturability.
• I have 22+ years’ experience in the use of Solidworks and 2 years with Autocad (Fusion 360) software to design and provide accurate bill of material and manufacturing information.
• I have been applying ANSI Y14.5 (ASME Y14.5) geometric tolerancing since 1980.
• I am very detailed oriented.
Awards
• In my work at LIGO (Laser Interferometer gravitational observatory) our group received the Paul F Forman Team Engineering Excellence Award for the work on the seismic isolation system.
