I am a BEng-qualified Mechanical Design Engineer with 7+ years of professional experience turning technical requirements into manufacture-ready designs. I specialise in SolidWorks 3D modelling, complex assemblies, detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs and DFM/DFA for bespoke machinery, materials-handling equipment, fabricated steelwork and sheet-metal products.
I can support clients with concept development, detailed design, FEA, design reviews, production documentation and supplier coordination. My experience includes conveyors, recycling and process machinery, rotating equipment, stillages and structural assemblies. Previous projects have doubled a client’s production output through redesign and halved component lead time through manufacturing improvements.
I work autonomously, communicate clearly and deliver against agreed milestones. I am available for remote projects, with UK site visits by arrangement.
