About
I'm a mechanical engineering student (4th year, University of Georgia, B.S. expected May 2027) with hands-on experience designing and reverse-engineering hardware for defense and tactical equipment manufacturers. My core work is taking physical parts with no existing documentation — measured by hand, no 3D scanner — and producing accurate, manufacturing-ready CAD from them, along with original component design built for injection molding, CNC, and additive manufacturing from the ground up.
What I bring:
Reverse engineering from physical parts to production-ready models (Fusion 360; SolidWorks proficiency in progress)
Design for manufacturing (DFM), GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis
Rapid prototyping via in-house 3D printing (daily operation of Bambu Lab P1S/H2D)
Working exposure to CNC machining and injection molding processes
Clear, responsive communication — I treat every project like it has a real deadline, because it does
I've completed 12+ CAD projects for a defense hardware manufacturer, including original component design and reverse-engineering work, and built a tutoring track record teaching CAD and engineering physics to other students.
I'm not yet a licensed engineer or degree-holder — I'm upfront about that — but the deliverable speaks for itself: accurate, dimensionally sound, manufacturing-ready files, delivered on time. Happy to start with a smaller project if you want to see the work before committing to something larger.

Experience
- Mechanical Engineering and Design Intern Salvo MFG/Litefighter · Internship Jun 2026 – Aug 2026 2 mos Dahlonega, GA, United States Reverse-engineered and produced manufacturing-ready CAD from physical field hardware components for a defense/tactical equipment manufacturer, working from precision manual measurement without 3D scanning equipment. Independently designed original tactical hardware components from concept through production-ready geometry, and revised existing designs for manufacturability. Operate Bambu Lab 3D printers daily for prototyping and validation, with hands-on exposure to CNC machining and injection molding. Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design-for-manufacturing principles within a design-verify workflow between design and manufacturing partners.
- Freelance CAD Trainer & Physics Tutor Varsity Tutors · Freelance Aug 2024 – May 2026 1 yrs 9 mos Athens, GA, United States Delivered one-on-one instruction in CAD software (Fusion 360) and engineering physics to undergraduate students, August 2024 – May 2026 (academic year, excluding summer breaks). Translated complex technical concepts into clear, applied explanations tailored to individual student needs. Built a consistent client base through demonstrated technical accuracy and teaching quality — this track record directly led to a referral into a mechanical design internship.
