About

My work sits at the intersection of two practices: 3D visualization for industrial, automotive and architectural clients, and custom furniture and interior design through my own studio.

For the past 9+ years, I've built photorealistic renders and technical animations from CAD data, working with complex assemblies, exploded views, and material-accurate finishes for engineering presentations and marketing use, primarily under NDA for Tier-1 clients.

In parallel, I design and deliver custom furniture, built-ins, and full interior environments, overseeing everything from client requirements, 3D modeling, and CMF (color, material, finish) specification to fabrication oversight and on-site installation.

Both practices draw on an Industrial Design background, and both rely on the same core skill: translating technical or spatial requirements into accurate, well-communicated visual outcomes, whether the deliverable is an engineering-grade render or a finished physical space.

3D Visualization Specialist Davix Studio · Self-employed Jan 2016 – Present 10 yrs 8 mos Monterrey, N.L., Mexico - Founded Davix Studio to formalize 9+ years of experience delivering photorealistic 3D visualization and technical animation for industrial manufacturers and automotive component suppliers, primarily under NDA for Tier-1 clients.

- Own the full production pipeline independently, from CAD data preparation (STP/STEP, native formats) to technical/mechanical explainers, exploded views, product animations, basic motion graphics, and final video delivery with music and sound effects for engineering, trade show, corporate and marketing use.

- Delivered photorealistic architectural visualization directly for architects and civil engineers, translating floor plans and technical drawings into interior and exterior renders, with attention to lighting studies, camera composition, material-accurate finishes, and entourage detail for client presentations and design approval.
Product Designer Inovardi · Self-employed Jan 2009 – Present 17 yrs 8 mos Monterrey, N.L., Mexico - Founded Inovardi to design and deliver custom-fabricated products and fixtures for residential and commercial clients, managing the full project lifecycle from concept and technical drawings through fabrication and on-site installation.

- Own the full workflow independently, from client requirements and 3D modeling to CMF (color, material, finish) specification, structural planning, and multidisciplinary trade coordination (carpentry, glasswork, metalwork).

Education

UDEM Bachelor's Degree, Industrial Design 1996 – 2000 Studied Industrial Design with a focus on product development, technical drawing, and design fundamentals that now support my work in 3D visualization for industrial and manufacturing clients.

CATIA Trainee — INCAT Hired to train as a CATIA instructor for manufacturing clients including automotive and heavy-equipment suppliers (~2000). Self-trained through internal manuals to a working knowledge of sketching and basic solid modeling.
