• Maintenace Engineer Andritz inc · Full-time Jun 2022 – Aug 2025 3 yrs 2 mos Uruguay Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance within a large-scale pulp mill, working as part of ANDRITZ’s maintenance division. Responsible for the mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring availability, reliability, and safe operation in a continuous production environment.
  
  My role included maintenance planning and management, coordination of corrective and preventive maintenance activities, and follow-up of maintenance costs and resources. I worked closely with production teams to prioritize critical issues, minimize downtime, and improve coordination between maintenance and operations.
  
  In addition, I was involved in the analysis and resolution of recurring mechanical failures, proposing and implementing technical improvements to address critical problems affecting reliability and maintainability. These improvements were often developed in coordination with engineering and product design teams, allowing me to contribute operational feedback and support the implementation of design modifications.
  
  This position provided me with strong exposure to industrial processes, cross-functional collaboration, and decision-making under real production constraints, forming a solid foundation for my current focus on mechanical design and product development.
• Technical Site Supervisor Saceem · Full-time Dec 2021 – May 2022 5 mos Uruguay Mechanical Engineer with early experience as Technical Site Supervisor at SACEEM on a large-scale pulp and paper industrial project. The role focused on the technical follow-up of engineering drawings and correct execution of electromechanical installation works.
  
  Responsibilities included supervising the installation of transformers and medium- and low-voltage power cables, monitoring work progress, manpower, costs, and schedule compliance, and resolving execution-related issues under tight deadlines and high-pressure conditions. The position also involved leading and coordinating large work crews and ensuring alignment between design documentation and on-site execution.
  
  This experience provided a strong foundation in field execution, team leadership, and schedule-driven project environments, which later complemented my technical background in industrial maintenance and mechanical design.
