About
I’m a fabrication-first AutoCAD designer with 20+ years of hands-on experience supporting heat exchanger manufacturing and industrial fabrication. My background includes welding, fabrication, inspection, and CAD support in production environments where accuracy, repeatability, and code compliance matter.
I’ve worked in a heat exchanger manufacturing facility (Thermal Engineering International) supporting production teams with CAD drawings used for pressure-retaining components, tube sheets, shells, structural supports, and welded assemblies. I understand how CAD decisions affect fit-up, weld sequencing, distortion control, inspection, and final assembly—because I’ve supported these processes directly on the shop floor.
I don’t just draft parts.
I create shop-ready, fabrication-ready drawings that reduce rework, eliminate shop questions, and support efficient production.
I currently operate Guided Light Welding LLC, providing remote AutoCAD and fabrication drawing support to manufacturers and fabrication shops that need reliable CAD without hiring full-time staff.
