• Junior Mep design engineer AMNEAR ENGINEERS · Full-time Aug 2025 – Present 4 mos KL, India As a Junior MEP Engineer at Amnear Engineers, I was responsible for delivering complete MEP design solutions for residential and commercial projects. My role involved performing HVAC load calculations using HAP, sizing ducts and chilled water pipes, preparing ESP calculations, and designing ventilation and exhaust systems in line with ASHRAE 62.1 and 62.2 standards. I developed accurate HVAC layouts, equipment schedules, and system diagrams while ensuring seamless integration with architectural and structural elements.
  
  I worked extensively on plumbing design, including water supply and drainage pipe sizing, pump selection, tank sizing, PRV design, and manhole/invert level calculations following IPC, BS 6700, and BS 8301 guidelines. I prepared detailed plumbing layouts, schematics, and isometric drawings that supported both design review and site execution.
  
  In fire-fighting design, I created sprinkler layouts, hydrant networks, wet and dry riser systems, and carried out hydraulic calculations as per NFPA 13, NFPA 12, and NFPA 2001. I ensured that all fire-fighting components—such as sprinklers, hose reels, and extinguishers—were placed to achieve maximum coverage and code compliance.
  
  I also participated in electrical design tasks including lighting layouts and DB scheduling using Relux and Excel. Across all disciplines, I prepared BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates using PlanSwift, ensuring accurate budgeting and procurement planning.
