Mason Russell is a mechanical engineer with a strong background in aerospace design, rapid manufacturing, and system integration. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and has hands-on experience with SolidWorks, CATIA, AS-9100, MIL-STDs, and additive manufacturing. Currently, he supports the B-52 Bomber’s Rotary Launcher and Pylons as part of a major hypersonic missile integration project, where he leads procurement, technical documentation, and vendor relations.
His prior experience spans medical device design at Nordson Medical, process optimization at Mohawk Industries, and plastic forming manufacturing at The Woodbridge Group. A proven leader, Mason served as President of UTC Rocketry, where he guided a NASA USLI team in building and launching an autonomous imaging rocket. He is also pursuing passion projects such as autonomous drone development for emergency response. Outside of engineering, Mason is an avid sports enthusiast, guitarist, and 3D printing content creator.
