• Researcher Loughborough univesity · Full-time Jul 2024 – Sep 2024 2 mos Loughborough, England, United Kingdom 10-week research internship with the Mechanical Engineering department of Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University.
  
  Focused on research into the use of Interactive Genetic Algorithms in iteratively developing parametric designs
  Involved the integration of FullControl GCode Designer into the program, so that a 3D printing pathway could be produced, and the designs printed using FDM machines.
  
  End product will be integrated into the FullControl website as a functional demonstration for public users, as well as an opensource Jupyter notebook.
  
  Heavy programming focus, using a combination of Python, Javascript, and HTML.
  
  Work done led to the co-authorship of a research paper which is in the process of publication.
