I am a Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in design of LEO Satellites (Spacecraft and its ground station antennas), Airborne and Defense products like Radar for Military and weather applications as per MIL-STD, LRU Chassis as per ARINC std (Air and Conduction cooled) IP rated enclosures, Display systems, Aircraft Cabin systems, Avionics systems, RF and Digital modules (COTS), sheet metal enclosures, Ground support systems, Test jigs and Standard Racks.
* 3D designing, Part modelling, sheet metal modeling, part and Assembly Drawing.
* Experience in PCB mechanical design
* Experience in designing EMI/EMC, IP rated rugged electronic enclosures, Custom RF shields, 19" rack mountable chassis.
* Good knowledge in Torque calculation for Motor drive selection, Thermal and structural hand calculation, stack-up calculation, heat sink and cooling fan selection.
* Knowledge in Geometric dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) as per ISO and
ASME standards and Tolerance stack-up.
* Experience in 3D modelling on CREO, Catia and Solid works.
* Experience in Thermal analysis on Ansys Workbench, Icepak, Flotherm , Flotherm XT and FLOEFD.
* Experience in Structural analysis on Ansys Workbench and Hypermesh / nastran patran
