Raised in the historical town of Brasov, Romania, my journey into the world of engineering commenced against the backdrop of medieval allure and architectural marvels in 2010. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering – Renewable Energy Systems Engineering at Transylvania University in Brasov provided the initial brushstrokes for what would become a dynamic career.
In 2014, I entered the professional landscape, contributing to an engineering consultancy company that served a client specialized in heavy industry engines and thermal structures. Precision marked my meticulous design of heat shields, leaving an enduring impact on products crucial to industrial giants.
Seeking fresh challenges in 2017, I ventured to the United Kingdom, where I applied my expertise to a prominent manufacturing company. Adapting access platforms for diverse vehicles became my forte, seamlessly blending innovation with practicality across projects ranging from pickup trucks to Unimogs.
The next chapter unfolded in 2018, working for a leader in the Access Platforms industry, where I played a pivotal role in developing access platforms on vehicle chassis as a senior design engineer. Proficient in all design aspects and project management, I excelled in generating successful outcomes with each project.
In 2021, a new opportunity arose as I joined a leading company specializing in material handling solutions. As a senior design engineer, I crafted intricate conveyor systems, ensuring compliance with the latest safety standards and overseeing projects from design inception to production dispatch, as well as expanding my knowledge for research and development projects.
Amidst these experiences, inspiration culminated in the establishment of KRUHN Engineering in 2023. Headquartered in the UK, the name pays homage to my hometown, Brasov, known as Kruhnen.
