I am a Turner / Machinist by trade and currently studying towards a career in both Mechatronics and Process Instrumentation at a local university. I started with technical subjects as early as high school and progress onto to an entry level position in the drawing office of a automation company where I gained experience in methods of modular design and CAD packages such as Solid works and Autodesk Inventor. I enrolled into an apprenticeship program where I obtain my red seal in Turning and continued to increase my exposure to FMCG based manufacturing companies by working in various industries such as automotive , pharmaceutical and general manufacturing companies. I have been involved in both the installation, commissioning and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in these industries and carry knowledge beyond the scope of just my current qualification. Therefor I have decides to enrolled at me local university in order to increase my theoretical knowledge on Electrical Engineering, specializing in Mechatronics and Process Instrumentation. My main interests is in industrial electronics and design of efficient and maintenance friendly equipment that is easily repaired and mostly modular in design.

I am a Mechanical Engineer with a Honors Degree from the University of Johannesburg. I have been using the software package Autodesk Inventor and its extras since my 1st year as a Mechanical Engineering Student in 2017, making my experience with this software and Engineering Design as a whole very broad. I have a year experience working as a Design Engineer at a CNC Machining workshop, as part of my Internship with Resolution Circle. I used this role to learn the Siemens machining tools and software used when producing precision machined parts. I also have a year experience as a Mechanical and Instrumentation Engineer at EgoliGas, where we used SolidWorks to design natural gas pipelines that supply gas to many homes and businesses in the Johannesburg area using a network of undergroung pipelines.
